RB Sustainability Council

Royal Britannia School's Sustainability Council is comprised of faculty, staff and administrators, and is aimed specifically at supporting the work of all RB community members as it pertains to sustainability and helping to encourage, initiate and support development towards creating a truly sustainable campus. The make-up of the school's Sustainability Council, which includes a wide cross-section of constituents, helps connect both academic and operational experiences and expertise.

The Council's charge sheet states: "The challenges of sustainability are both local and global. The individual's awareness, actions and choices in regard to sustainability are a contribution to its immediate RB community as well as to its extended community and friends of RB and consequently, to the global community. By raising awareness of the topic with the students, faculty, staff, parents and contractors, and by implementing new strategies of environmentally friendly behaviour within the RB community, it will help elevate the RB facilities and practices to a more sustainable campus."

The Council welcomes any dialogue surrounding the issue of sustainability, whether it's a general question or concern, or simply a suggestion about how we may make enhancements. If you have questions, comments or ideas to share, please send an email to: Hello@rb.edu.kw
